What We Do
Stigma slows down people’s recovery. That is why we want to break the stigma! We want to do this with our campaign ‘Break the Stigma for Families’ by cycling together with families, relatives and others. The campaign focuses on cycling together, because no one should be feeling like they or their loved ones are dealing with a mental illness alone. In addition, the following aspects of cycling can be very useful when you’re affected by a mental illness:
- Cycling contributes to both mental and physical health;
- Cycling connects people and families;
- Cycling gives us a sense of freedom and delight.
